ChoiceMED utilizes a centralized directory-based management system of users, groups, and computers across our entire organization. Client data resides in separate, secure database tables within our secure technology infrastructure, and is accessible only by authorized personnel based on strict access controls. Acess to files and/or data is handled by a standard two process of Identification and Authentication, using rules-based Mandatory Access Controls (MAC) protocols. Access privilege rules to client specific files or data is assigned by ChoiceMED senior operations management and administered by IT staff.

In providing our services and solutions to the healthcare industry, we have implemented reasonable measures to comply with applicable state, federal and international laws and regulations that protect Personal Information such as the privacy and security rules under Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
